Essence Awakening ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website essenceawakening.com and the Essence Awakening mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to both the website and the app.
1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. Accounts are managed through our website platform provider, Wix. You can use the app's practices, breathing exercises, and check-ins without an account; an account is only needed to book or manage sessions.
Booking information. When you book a session, we collect the details of your appointment (service, date and time) so we can provide it.
Payment information. Payments are processed securely by Wix and its payment processors. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Communications. If you contact us, we keep the message so we can respond.
2. INFORMATION STORED ONLY ON YOUR DEVICE
Mood check-ins, reflections, favorites, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes this information.
3. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT
The app contains no advertising and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app does not use analytics services and does not collect your location.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information above to provide and improve our services: managing your account, scheduling and delivering sessions, processing payments, responding to you, and keeping the app and website secure and functioning.
5. SERVICE PROVIDERS
We rely on a small number of providers to operate:
• Wix — website hosting, member accounts, bookings, and payment processing (wix.com/about/privacy)
• Google Firebase — the app checks a configuration setting (for example, whether the app is under maintenance); this does not involve your personal information (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
• Apple — app distribution through the App Store
These providers process information only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
6. THERAPY SESSIONS AND CONFIDENTIALITY
What you share within a therapy session is governed by the clinical policies and consent forms you receive from your therapist and by applicable law — not by this policy. This policy covers only the website and app.
7. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You may access, correct, or delete your account information at any time by contacting us at [contact email]. You may also request that we delete your account entirely. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we honor valid requests.
8. RETENTION AND SECURITY
We keep account and booking information for as long as your account is active or as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete it. We use reputable providers and industry-standard safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. CHILDREN
Our website and app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
